Sen. Maye Quade, Rep. Bahner, Kids Code Coalition to Announce Revitalized Youth Online Safety Bill

ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Kids Code Coalition will host a virtual press briefing this Friday, February 9 at 10:00 AM with sponsors Senator Erin Maye Quade and Representative Kristin Bahner to announce a revitalized effort to pass the Minnesota Kids Code (SF 2810/HF 2257), age-appropriate design code legislation to make technology safer for young users and protect their privacy.

Advocates and supporters will join the lawmakers as they summarize the amended legislation’s provisions, describe the urgent need for action to protect Minnesota children and teens online, and answer questions from the media.
